Install method

Plaster-in flush integration. The vent flange seats into the duct opening; drywall joint compound is applied around the edges to integrate the vent flush with the surrounding wall or ceiling surface. After the mud cures (4–6 hours), sand smooth and paint to match. Plan on roughly 20–30 minutes of active install time per vent.

This is the standard install for premium flush-mount registers — comparable to Fittes Luxe and DJC trimless registers — not the magnetic drop-in style of some lower-tier flush vents. Same method works for wall or ceiling installs.

Are these UL-listed?
Seam Home flush vents are passive supply registers and don't require UL listing under standard residential code. They install onto existing UL-listed duct work.

What's the install method?
Plaster-in flush integration with drywall mudding. Same approach as Fittes Luxe. Works for wall or ceiling installs.

Can these be ceiling-mounted?
Yes — all four sizes install in wall or ceiling drywall. The 14×14 square format is particularly suited for bathroom and sloped ceiling installs.
