The 14×14" Seam flush vent is our largest size — designed for great rooms, open-plan kitchens, and any wall or ceiling where high airflow is non-negotiable but you still want the surface to read as a single clean plane. The square format works particularly well for bathroom and ceiling installs, where a rectangle would feel mis-oriented overhead.
Why Seam
- Truly flush. Once mudded in and finished, the vent sits perfectly flat against the drywall surface. No frame edge, no shadow line.
- Paintable. Matte powder-coat surface accepts standard latex or oil-based interior paint — match your wall or ceiling color exactly.
- Premium materials. Powder-coated steel construction. Won't dent, rust, or yellow like the stamped aluminum vents from big-box stores.
- Wall or ceiling. The vent flange seats into your duct opening and is integrated flush with the surrounding drywall — in a wall or in a ceiling — then sanded smooth and painted to match. Square format ideal for overhead installs.

Frequently asked questions
What size duct opening does the 14×14 flush vent fit?
Standard 14×14 inch metal duct boot — typically used for high-airflow supply registers in larger rooms.
Can I paint the Seam flush vent?
Yes. The matte powder-coat surface accepts any standard latex or oil-based interior paint. Lightly sand and prime for best adhesion.
Is this a supply or return register?
Supply registers only. The fixed-blade design isn't built for return-air openings.
How does the Seam flush vent install?
Plaster-in flush integration. The vent flange seats into your duct opening; drywall joint compound is applied around the flange to integrate the vent flush with the surrounding wall or ceiling. After the mud cures (4–6 hours), sand smooth and paint to match. Plan on 20–30 minutes of active install time per vent, comparable to other premium plaster-in registers like Fittes Luxe.
Can the 14×14 be ceiling-mounted?
Yes — and the square format makes the 14×14 the best size in our line for ceiling installs. Common applications include bathroom ceilings, sloped ceilings, and any room where the supply register is overhead. Same plaster-in install method as wall mounting.
What rooms is the 14×14 size best for?
Great rooms, open-plan kitchens and living areas, vaulted spaces, and bathroom or sloped ceiling installs. Anywhere the HVAC system was sized for serious airflow.
How does it compare to the 8×14?
The 14×14 is square and moves significantly more air. Use the 14×14 for great rooms, open-plan spaces, and ceiling installs (square reads better overhead); choose the 8×14 for typical living-room walls.
What's in the box?
1× 14×14" flush vent · install instructions. Drywall joint compound, sandpaper, primer, and paint are sourced separately.
What if the vent doesn't fit my space?
30-day free returns on unopened, uninstalled units. Once the vent is mudded in, it is permanently installed. Confirm fit before installing.
